7aki is free to use. There is no account, no trial and no payment. We would like to keep it that way, and nothing on this page promises we can keep it running forever.

You keep every right to the text and images you create here. We never see them, because they never leave your browser, so there is nothing for us to claim and no licence for you to grant us.

The engine guesses. It guesses well, but it guesses, and Arabic spelling is genuinely ambiguous: the same letters can mean several words. Read what you wrote before you send it somewhere that matters.

The service is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for loss that follows from using it, including a word that came out wrong.

Please do not:

• Use the site to produce or spread unlawful content, or content that harasses somebody.
• Hammer the site or the contact form with automated requests.
• Try to get around the spam check, or send bulk mail through the contact form.
• Bulk download the dictionary files to republish them as your own.

If you want to build on top of this properly, that is a conversation we are happy to have. Ask through the contact form.

The name, the design, the software, the dialect word lists and the spelling rules behind the suggestions belong to 7aki. Using the site does not transfer any of that to you.

The base word frequencies are derived from public corpora and remain under their own licences.

Translation and web search hand your request to companies we do not control. Their terms cover what happens once your request reaches them. See the privacy page for exactly when that happens.

We can change the service or these terms. The date at the top tells you when they last moved. If a change matters, it will be obvious.

These terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon, and the courts of Beirut have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
