The language of the buttons and labels, not of what you type.

Your letters

Arabizi has no standard, so two people from the same city will disagree about what 6 means. Add as many rules as you like; they win over the dialect defaults.

Search from the address bar

Add 7aki as a browser search engine and Arabizi typed into the address bar is converted before the search runs.

How to set it up

  • Visit this site once, which you have just done. Your browser has already found 7aki.
  • Open Settings, then Search engines, then Manage search engines and site search.
  • Scroll to Inactive shortcuts. That is where the browser files an engine it has discovered but you have not used yet. Find 7aki, open its three-dot menu, and choose Activate.
  • 7aki moves up to Site search. Open its three-dot menu again and choose Make default.
  • Firefox: click the address bar, then the magnifying glass, then Add 7aki.
  • Safari does not let sites add themselves as search engines, so this one is Chrome, Edge and Firefox only.
