Search engine

Use bangsStart or end what you write with !yt, !w, !gh and it goes straight to that site. Resolved here, so there is no redirect through anyone else.

Search from the address bar

Add 7aki as a browser search engine and Arabizi typed into the address bar is converted before the search runs.

Convert what I type in the address barOff means the words go through untouched. Either way, start a query with !raw to skip conversion once, or !ar to force it.

How to set it up

Visit this site once, which you have just done. Your browser has already found 7aki.
Open Settings, then Search engines, then Manage search engines and site search.
Scroll to Inactive shortcuts. That is where the browser files an engine it has discovered but you have not used yet. Find 7aki, open its three-dot menu, and choose Activate.
7aki moves up to Site search. Open its three-dot menu again and choose Make default.
Firefox: click the address bar, then the magnifying glass, then Add 7aki.
Safari does not let sites add themselves as search engines, so this one is Chrome, Edge and Firefox only.
